Cybersafety

On Monday 24th of February, Susan Mc Lean presented ‘Cybersafety- How to stay safe online’ to all our staff, Grade 3-6 students, and most parents.

“Keeping children safe online is a great challenge, particularly as students get older.”

Her key messages included:

  •  Ensuring students are not using Apps which they are not old enough to use.
  • Ensuring  that students should only talk to people on the internet that they know in ‘the real world’

Thank you for talking to your child or children about the Apps listed below, which they should not be on. This means that they are for students aged 13+ or even 18+.

To report serious instances of cyber-bullying, parents and students can contact the Office of the eSafety Commissioner: https://www.esafety.gov.au/
