2017 School Leaders

Congratulations to our 2017 school leaders. The students were selected by their teachers and peers based on their leadership skills and ability to use the learning powers in all that they do. We look forward to see the impact they have on the school this year. Good Luck!

“My name is Rita Yousif. As a school leader this year I would like to teach everyone to not bully others and speak nicely. I am looking forward to being a school leader so I can use the Learning Powers and help students who are new to our school.”

“My name is Cristian Buhac. As school leader this year I would like to help and teach students at Sacred Heart how to follow the school rules when they are outside playing. I will also help teachers on yard duty.”

'My name is Harry McEvoy. When I was selected I felt so happy and relieved to be a school leader. As school leader I would like to stop people from bullying others and make sure students speak appropriately. I would also like to welcome new students to our school."

“My name is Avril San Jose. Being selected as school leader made me feel very surprised, proud and happy. As a school leader this year I would like to teach all students how to be a responsible person and follow their goals and dreams. Lastly I would like to welcome all new students that come to Sacred Heart and make them feel like they belong.

My name is My Nguyen. As a school leader this year I would like to be the best role model I can be and have an impact on the school by teaching students about having responsibility. I would also like to help other students achieve their goals and motivate others to be great learners. I want to assist teachers and students when they are in need of help.”

My name is Amber Nguyen. As school leader this year I would like to be a great role model, help and teach younger grades to be good learners and be there to assist teachers and Ms Blake when needed. I would also like to make sure all students feel welcome and like they belong at our school.”

“My name is Theressa Nguyen. When I was selected as a school leader I was shocked and I felt very proud of myself. As school leader this year I would like all the younger students to see me as a role model so that one day they can also be a school leader. I am going to be a role model by being a responsible school leader and help students who don’t know english feel welcomed.

My name is Tommy Pham. Thank you Sacred Heart for selecting me as School Captain. I will strive to be a good School Captain by helping people when they are in need. I will also make sure I follow the school rules and use all the learning powers in the classroom. Thank you.

My name is Felix Tejo. When I was selected for school leader I was extremely shocked and excited. I am very passionate about sport and one of my main goals as a school leader is to make sure all students know what a good sportsman is and show good sportmanship when playing sport at school, for interschool sports and all sporting events we are take part in.

My name is Jehan Daddoo. I was so happy when the teacher annouced that I was school leader. I wanted to be school leader because I want to help other students to face their fears, be more confident and improve their learning. This year I look forward to being a leader in God and supporting other students with their faith.

My name is Genevieve Durand Deslongrais. When I was elected as school leader I was excited and proud. Being school leader is a huge achievement for me. As school leader I want to make a difference in this school by making sure that I am a great role model for others. I will strive to ensure that all students are happy at school. One of my goals as a school leader is to help and assist others that may have issues on the yard, to welcome everyone and to ensure all feel safe and loved at Sacred Heart. I hope everyone has a great year in 2017.

My name is Hai An Vo. Being selected as school leader is a privilege. I am so proud to be able to lead others as they embark on their journey of faith. In 2017, as a school leader I want to be not just a role model but a friend to all students. My goal is to make 2017 a great, fantastic, memorable year for everyone who attends Sacred Heart.
