Grade 5/6 students visit the National Gallery of Victoria

2 March 2017 | General Interest

Students visited the NGV to view and learn about the David Hockney exhibition. Here they were exposed to how modern technology is changing the way artwork is created today. David Hockney's art exhibition was a great way to show students how they can use technology to be creative and express different ideas.

They were given a fantastic opportunity to view the amazing exhibition by Hockney and then given an i-pad to recreate some of his artworks.

It was a valuable excursion and students were able to use the skills they learnt back at school during Visual Arts.
