Literacy

Our literacy program strives to empower students with the skills to confidently listen to, discuss, read, and view a range of spoken, written and multimodal texts. We believe that this is achieved through the competent acquisition of the English language. Literacy throughout the school consists of a two-hour uninterrupted session that runs four to five times a week. Teachers work with students in small groups. Planning for individual needs ensures that each child feels successful in their learning.
